on a less angry note, this ost really is good. i hope i didn't turn anyone away from it with my wild caps of rage. i am slowly becoming capslock!harry. i don't think this is a good thing.

i will update about my very short vacay a little later tonight, after i sit through another hellish class and go get my car checked out because the brakes sounds like there's a dying cat living in them. awesome.

you can totally take my fruit for money if you're not making enough from your neighbors. i ONLY have fruit trees in my town and they're just sitting around, not being harvested because i'm lazy and rich already.

the part time job is the worst. i hate that you have to do it for EVERY ANIMAL CROSSING GAME. there should be a "SHUT UP NOOK I KNOW THE SCORE BY NOW" option.

this is true. animal crossing is definitely a "play like nuts for a week, then wait for a month or two to clean up my own mess" sort of game.

WHAAAAAT. that's odd. so you can connect for the web browser, but not wild world? or is the ds like, "haaaay i see the access point, but i don't think i'm going to let you actually USE it"? damn nintendo, dictating your fashion.

ugh exactly! i hate the fact that these upgrades are so stupidly expensive and that it takes forever and a day to do everything. and your work is never done! jesus.

basically, what it said was, "oh hay! i'm connected to the interweb, but i just don't feel like connecting to the actual nintendo wi-fi connection! sucks!" which is ridiculous. like, how.

i guess it's better than finishing all of the objectives in a few days and never playing again? though wild world is pretty good with keeping you occupied, at least. my house has four rooms and i'm still paying for upgrades.

that sounds like what used to happen with me when i tried to trade pokemon :/ i had to keep restarting and trying again, hoping that it'd work AT SOME POINT. it usually did, but it was still a pain.

oh man, i don't know which one to push you towards. on one hand, shelter au sounds SO PRECIOUS AND FLUFFY. on the other, i'm all for a porn-related mystery. IDK!

this is very true! though idk, at the rate i'm going, it might be over sooner than i know. i just spent the past hour fishing and collecting fruit and only have 400 bells left on my mortgage for the first house... :|

UGH. i might just sit here and do that. it's either that or i'll go to panera tomorrow or something and steal their internet there and i can change my hair then. maybe. idk. i guess it depends on what my day's like tomorrow.

ughhhhhh maybe i should poll the general public. i really want to write both, though! D:

oh, 400 bells isn't that bad! are you doing errands still? sometimes the residents give you bells as thanks! (or is that only city folk...? i really shouldn't play two versions of a game at the same time.)

it's sort of a pain, but that might be what you have to do :/ let me know your time frame plan, though - i've got some errands to run, but they're probably going to be in the morning anyways.

a poll is always good. and they're both being written eventually, right? maybe try starting both and whichever one comes easier gets written first. (though that's probably why i have five fics that i'm writing at the same time... D:)

nah, i'm past the stupid tutorial part of the game. i've basically just been running around and picking up shells and fishing and stuff. no one's asked me to deliver anything for them yet. ): i probably have to wait until the morning or something.

hum. i finish classes for the day at 1 tomorrow, so i'd probably head over to panera at 2 or something like that, depending on if i wanted to bring my laptop with me or not. i probably will since i have a lot of work to get done and i need to get out of my dorm, so that's what it looks like right now. should i send you a text message or...? (wow this is such srs business...)

they are both being written! currently, i only have the loose kind of character outline for shelter!au, and as for detective!au, all i have is a small bit where junno confesses his ~love~ to aiba as they eat nabe in some restaurant. i...kind of can't write detective!au until i know who killed the...whoever it was that got killed, though. ): i think my main issue with shelter!au is how to wrench a plot out of something that's so...undramatic. idk. :|

oh, if it's afternoon-ish, i'll be good either way! i'm probably not doing much more than breakfast and grocery shopping with my mom, so i'll be home by that time. a text or a tweet would work!

sorry for the srs business :( it'd kind of suck if we missed each other and you were stuck with cotton candy hair for longer than normal, though. haha.

ah, yeah. mysteries are better written if you know who did what, i assume. dropping clues would be difficult any other way! and i know you don't want to write straight fluff, but HOW COULD AIBA WORKING IN AN ANIMAL SHELTER BE ANYTHING ELSE? don't fight the fluff! ♥

sweet! i'm just hoping that it works because idk, i'm not sure if ds's can get on the internet and stuff via wi-fi at panera, since they make you click on their agreement and stuff in order to get the internet to start working. i'll figure it out!

seriously, this hair is ATROCIOUS. there's pigtails, and then this random tendril of hair like, sticking straight up in the front. WHAT IS THAT. who designed these things?!

exactly! i don't even know who died yet! though i'm thinking about making it some girl just so i can skip the whole, 'OMG YOU KILLED JIN SO AND SO HDU?!' and be done with it. and i don't mind straight fluff, really, it's just there's got to be some sort of plot! unless the whole thing's just some kind of romance story between junno and aiba, then. idk. that could work. maybe the plot is sho convincing aiba to go to veterinary school and to take over for sho so he can go...somewhere else. or something. ahhhhhh this is difficult! :(

hm, that may be a problem, but maybe if you log onto the web browser first? i was going to suggest going to a caribou coffee since my ds has worked there before, but then i remembered you don't have any near you. WHICH IS A TOTAL INJUSTICE, BTW.

i had that hairstyle in light brown when i first made my town! also, have you seen the hair guide, or are you just going to wing it? the city folk hair options are MUCH IMPROVED, i think.
