Three hours later, they're packing up; the day was spent mostly reworking some of the lyrics in the raps to help the flow, making sure everything fit in time with the music. Kame straightens a few harmonies out for them and all in all, progress is made.
Koki and Maru leave first, both citing some new restaurant they wanted to try out, and Kame waves as they leave. He whirls around at a tap on his shoulder.
"What do you think of the song?" Junno asks without preamble.
"It's -- " Kame begins, then stops. He's not sure what to say about it, really. "It's good." He finishes, and it sounds awful and trite even to his own ears.
This doesn't stop Junno from beaming like an idiot, though, as he's putting on his coat. "Really? Ahhh, I'm so glad!" He pauses, fixes Kame with a stare as he buttons his coat up. "Thank you for helping with the harmonies, too. They probably would've sounded awful otherwise."
Kame busies himself with his sweater. "Heh, well. You'd figure it out eventually."
"So," Junno begins, topping off his ensemble with a knit cap. "Do you feel better now?"
Kame stays rooted to the spot. He's actually pretty sure his mouth is hanging open, which is really undignified, but -- what?
Junno just laughs, takes Kame's hat from his fingers and tugs it onto Kame's head. "You're really easy to read, you know. Or maybe you just forget that I've known you for practically a decade already." He leads Kame out of the studio and locks up as Kame's gathering his thoughts.
"...well, this is embarrassing." Kame says a few moments later. The keys jingle in Junno's hand as they walk to the front desk to return them and sign out. Junno stays quiet as he's writing, as he's thanking the receptionist, as they walk out the doors and onto the sidewalk.
Finally, he turns to Kame and flicks his forehead. "Stupid. We'll always have 'Special Happiness', or did you forget about that, too?"
Kame rubs at his forehead as Junno turns and starts to walk off. He gets to the corner and stops and turns again, gives Kame an expectant, pointed look.
WTF TWO PARTS

Giant dork.
Kame might have ran to catch up, though.
